HBO has long been a thorn in the side of streaming media enthusiasts, only licensing its content to be accessed through HBO GO, unlike the Netflix and Amazon Prime models that have become so commonplace in recent years. Now, the pay-cable network struck a surprising Amazon Prime deal to deliver streams of a variety of shows past and present, but don't expect to start that 'Game of Thrones' marathon just yet.

It's been a good long while since 'Hannibal' served up any fresh appetizers of its second season, though its seems our preparation for the 2014 course has at long last begun. Among the many delectable courses in casting we expect for the year, 'Sex and the City' star Cynthia Nixon has joined 'Hannibal' season 2 in an important new role, but as whom, you ask?
Despite the howls of protest from many 'Sex and the City' fans, the CW went ahead with its planned prequel of the popular series, 'The Carrie Diaries.' And while 'SATC' star Sarah Jessica Parker isn't involved in the new project, she did take time to reach out to AnnaSophia Robb, the actress playing a young Carrie Bradshaw on the show.
