There are few things as reliably funny as Bad Lip Reading, the YouTube series that takes existing footage and subs over it with hilarious nonsense. Their latest targets are the 2013 Independent Spirit Award nominees for Best Screenplay, which means that they're taking well-written and well-liked movies 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'Moonrise Kingdom,' and transforming them into absurdism at its best and strangest.

David O. Russell's 'Silver Linings Playbook' was the big winner at this year's Independent Spirit Awards, taking home four awards including Best Feature. Of course, the debate asking why a mainstream, star-studded box office smash beat out the actual indie fare at the Independent Spirit Awards, but that's a conversation for another time. Check out the rest of winners below!

If you followed the 2012 presidential election in any capacity, you've most likely heard of Nate Silver and his FiveThirtyEight blog. The 2013 Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning when Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms took the press stage. Predictably, Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln,' Kathryn Bigelow's 'Zero Dark Thirty' and Tom Hooper's 'Les Miserables' all went home happy with their respective noms, but an unexpected surprise was the inclusion of 'Django Unchained' in a total of five categories, including one for Best Picture! But who are the film's main competitors?

Instead, they went to the movies. In fact, this was the biggest Thanksgiving box office of all time. Congratulations, America!

'Silver Linings Playbook' Review

David O. Russell's 'The Silver Linings Playbook' begins as one of the most arresting, empathetic and realistic portrayals of misunderstood mental health disorders since 'Ordinary People.' It concludes with a dopey dance routine more preposterous than the one in 'Little Miss Sunshine.' By the good grace of its performers (Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, primarily) it is still agreeable in a crowd-pleasing way, but anyone who engages this film as something serious is as delusional as the main character is bipolar.

'Silver Linings Playbook' may be a buzzed about Oscar contender, but more than that, it looks like a good movie. Not a "Good" Movie like 'The King's Speech' but an actual good movie. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper star in this tale of people who feel like damaged goods coming together, and now there's a great clip from the film online.
