Terry Crews Has No Interest in Playing Luke Cage in a Marvel Movie

It should be one of the biggest no-brainer casting moments for the Marvel universe: Terry Crews as Luke Cage. Yet, we've had no significant movement on a Luke Cage movie (or TV show, for that matter), while rumors continue to persist about another African-American Marvel movie ('Black Panther') continue. Well, despite the obvious fancasting, Terry Crews says Luke Cage is "being ignored" at Marvel and he has no interest in playing the superhero.

We don't make a habit here of posting commercials as news. But there is an exception to every rule and said exception is when there's a commercial with 'Expendables 2' star Terry Crews hooked up to electrodes that allow him to control musical instruments with his muscles. Somehow it's even more bizarre and hilarious than it sounds.

With 'The Newsroom' locked down for a second season after only 2 episodes airing, it's certainly time to start thinking about expanded roles for the Aaron Sorkin drama's next year.  We've just learned that 'The Expendables' and 'The Expendables 2' star Terry Crews will join the show's first season later on, but for how long?  And is there a chance of making it into the second season?
