If you've ever attended a fan convention, something around the lines of the annual San Diego Comic-Con, then you've encountered the angry fanboys/fangirls who nitpick about every single detail on their favorite superhero's costume in the latest movie they'll be appearing in. It's crazy how much they can obsess over detail, but maybe they're a bit more content with the way Spider-Man looks in Sony Pictures' 'The Amazing Spider-Man.'

This past week has suddenly turned into the battle for attention between the three comic book adapted movies that are scheduled to be released throughout this summer. Marc Webb's 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is going to try to be one of the big event films of the summer - even if it's rebooting the not-quite-cold Sam Raimi trilogy. Will audiences take to Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors aka The Lizard? That's still unknown, but now there's three clips to heat up interest.

After making an appearance at WonderCon this weekend, 'The Amazing Spider-Man' has ramped up its viral marketing. Although the footage from the movie shown at the fan convention in Anaheim this past weekend was the same eight minutes premiered around the world via satellite a few weeks back, the upcoming Columbia Pictures release has added a new wrinkle in the form of a website.
