A few months ago AMC's period drama 'Hell on Wheels' found itself in dire straits, as despite a season 3 renewal, showrunner Josh Shiban and co-creators/executive producers Joe and Tony Gayton were announced to depart the series. A third season of the acclaimed drama was put on hold until 'Falling Skies' vet John Wirth signed on to helm the series, putting it back on track to debut this summer.
