Universal's 2012 'Les Miserables' adaptation may have been the talk of the town, but with no sequel potential, why not go the modern TV series route? A surprising new report suggests that 'Veronica Mars' creator Rob Thomas and actor-writer Graham Norris have partnered with FOX to develop a modern adaptation of the iconic musical and Victor Hugo novel, but is it less insane than that sounds?

That extra $3+ million dollars raised by the 'Veronica Mars' movie Kickstarter continues working overtime for the production, though it has brought things to an all-time "Lowe." Ken Marino is the latest star to reprise his role for the upcoming fan-funded movie, while his former 'Party Down' co-star Martin Starr has also joined the production in an original role.

Those unfamiliar with 'Veronica Mars' in its original incarnation might be dumbfounded to learn of the now-famous guest stars that appeared over the years, from Aaron Paul ('Breaking Bad')  to Jessica Chastain. Now, as filming begins on the long-awaited movie, current 'New Girl' star Max Greenfield has also signed up to reprise his role as Deputy Leo D'Amato.

Just the other day 'Veronica Mars' announced the news that Tina Majorino's Mac would return for the upcoming Kickstarter movie, and now the fan-funded feature film has added two more returning favorites. 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' star Krysten Ritter will reprise her character Gia Goodman, while 'Party Down' favorite Ryan Hansen will be back as Dick Casablancas, and we have the dance number to prove it!
