Ah, awards.  What, with all the major series taking their break for the season, what's left to do but keep talking about the, or hurl awards at them?  While the Emmys slowly gear up, both the Television Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalist's association have prepped their choices for their respective award ceremonies.  Who's likely to be the big winners?

In a somewhat surprising move, 'Community' has become the highlight of the Broadcast Television Journalist Association's second annual Critic's Choice awards, leading the pack with a solid 6 nominations, including Best Comedy Series, and best comedy actor Joel McHale.  In fact, NBC was the big winner over all with a grand total of 14 nominations.

As for the Television Critics Association, Showtime's terrorism thriller 'Homeland' scored the most collectively with four nominations, including Achievement in Drama, Individual Achievement in Drama (for Claire Danes), and Outstanding new program.
