Dane DeHaan‘s Harry Osborn. Real shocker there! From the looks of the footage debuted at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, his character definitely seemed to have a more villainous edge than he was letting on.

As for his father, Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper), who assumes the villain role in the comics, there’s still talk of him becoming the Green Goblin, though he’s rumored to undergo the monstrous, Gremlin-like transformation we’ve come to know from the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series.

While there seems to be an overabundance of adversaries for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, the primary antagonist is still Electro, with the others lurking more in the background as prep for a presumed Sinister Six team up in the coming ‘Amazing Spider-Man 3.’

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Chris Cooper, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Sally Field and B.J. Novak, and is set for release on May 2, 2014. Check back this Thursday for the worldwide premiere of the trailer.
