Along with showing off a new trailer, 2K Games announced a special bit of downloadable content will be available to anyone who pre-orders The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

The DLC will be a special side-mission called "Codebreakers," which will see Special Agent Carter tasked with re-establishing a communication outpost overrun with space invaders.

“The alternate 1962 universe that we’ve created for The Bureau is vast and there are many more stories to tell about the early days of XCOM,” said Morgan Gray, development director at 2K Marin. “We’re excited that our stories will provide a new perspective on the war effort, much like how our critically acclaimed Minvera’s Den DLC for BioShock 2 allowed us to present a unique perspective of Rapture.”

Post-launch DLC is also planned, though there are no real details about that content just yet. The only fact we have is it will arrive first on the Xbox 360. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is due out on Aug. 20, so you've got plenty of time to reserve your copy if you're into free add-ons.
