'The Dark Knight Rises' was arguably the biggest movie of summer 2012, next to 'The Avengers.' Warner Bros. tortured us for what seemed like months on end with spoilery movie stills, trailers, TV spots, posters and random clips, but there's plenty more of this blockbuster to be seen.
What about all the behind-the-scenes footage? The studio released a 13-minute featurette, which gave us a look at how some of the scenes were filmed, and yet that didn't even cover the best moments that happened when the camera wasn't rolling.
We've already seen what Bane looks like without his mask, but what were Christopher Nolan and the production team seeing during some of the more dramatic scenes (Bane's team demolishing that plane, the exploding football field, that huge cops-vs-mercenaries mob fight, etc.)? Check out some of the best behind-the-scenes photos from 'The Dark Knight Rises' below.
