A brand new TV spot for 'The Dark Knight Rises' is now online, and it showcases some of the humor that has been left out of the previous TV spots and trailers. (And also out of the previous Batman films.)

Some new footage shows a cameo by Thomas Lennon playing a doctor going over all of the things wrong with Bruce Wayne. It's the physical exam every superhero would dread, one that points out all of the damage you managed to do to your body while fighting crime. Here's the synopsis:

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

There's also an amusing fan made poster that Collider is showing off. Apparently Batman wants to lets the competition know he's coming and they need to step aside. The Dark Knight will rise into theaters on July 20th. Sorry, Webhead.

Take a look at the poster below.

And if fan made posters aren't your thing, Movies has a brand new IMAX poster featuring Bane's big fat head. Check out that poster below.
