Are you as eager to check out 'The Killing' season 3's all-new case as we are? Well, good news! AMC has released the first new clip from Sunday's two-hour premiere "The Jungle / What You Fear the Most" and the Seattle underbelly is every bit as rain-soaked and sketchy as we remember.

A new killer is on the loose for AMC's third season of 'The Killing,' and a brand-new killing spree kicks off with the AMC drama's Sunday, June 2 premiere. We're eager to see Detectives Holder and Linden tackle a new case and IGN obtained the first clip of the season from the opening moments of Sunday's premiere.

So, what do we see? Neither of the two leading characters, mind you, but hey, they have to build that atmosphere somehow!

'The Killing’ season 3 picks up six months after the Rosie Larsen case’s end, as Linden returns from retirement to help Holder with a case that ties back to one of her previous investigations. Showrunner Veena Sud told us that the new case drew inspiration from real-life incidents, including photographer Mary Ellen Mark’s work depicting street youths in the 1970s, and the police investigation of Washington serial killer Gary Ridgway, which involved 50 women disappearing over the course of 20 years.

In addition to the casting of Peter Sarsgaard as death row inmate Ray Seward, ‘The Killing’ season 3 also boasts ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Aaron Douglas, ‘Flashpoint’s’ Hugh Dillon, Johnny Ray Gill, Amy Semeitz, Max Fowler and Elias Koteas among its cast.

Watch the first blood from 'The Killing' season 3 above, and check back Sunday night for a full review of the premiere!
