'The League' Casts 'Glee's Jayma Mays, Do They Know Something We Don't?

FX / FOX

Dabbling in TV News has its downsides, particularly when one actor known for a specific show gets cast on other, usually foretelling some kind of doom.  We're certainly hoping that's not the case with 'Glee's Jayma Mays, whom FX's 'The League' has just cast for a multi-episode arc!  Might it mean the worst for troubled lovebirds Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and Emma Pillsbury?  Learn what 'League' role Jayma will play inside!

Could it be curtains for 'Glee's Jayma Mays, or are we letting our imagination run away with us?  We've just learned from TVLine that the redheaded OCD songstress has just booked a multi-episode arc on FX's fantasy football comedy 'The League,' to appear in the ongoing season.  At the moment, producers aren't revealing much about the character other than her position as an interior decorator, guesting on at least two episodes.

Thankfully, Mays' casting on 'The League' shouldn't affect her 'Glee' role, even with the recent relationship drama, or the actress being downgraded to recurring status for season 4.  Sources say that Mays will continue to guest on 'Glee,' at least for the moment.

What say you?  Do you think there might be more to the story with Jayma Mays' 'Glee' reduction?  Would you be interested in seeing her on 'The League?'  Give us your take in the comments!
