'The Simpsons' have been all over the internet this past week, perhaps even moreso than usual, as FXX continues on with its 12-day marathon of all 522 episodes of the landmark animated series. If you thought that America's favorite family would take a break however, wait until you see how FXX plans to parse out its library of 'The Simpsons' episodes five nights a week, presumably until the end of time.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 2, FXX will begin its regular weekly 'Simpsons' airings to include episodes on Mondays from 6:00 P.M. to midnight, Tuesdays from 8:00 P.M. to midnight, Thursdays from 8:00 P.M. to midnight, Fridays from 6:00 P.M. to midnight, and finally Sundays from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. And that's not all, we wouldn't want to forget the holiday-themed 'Simpsons' marathons throughout the year!

For those sick of Bart, Homer, Lisa, Marge and Maggie however, FXX will still air movies and original series on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Considering the ratings that our beloved yellow Springfield residents have brought to the fledgling network throughout its marathon however, we're hardly surprised to see FXX looking to keep 'The Simpsons' in play as often as possible.

Not had enough? Check out two delightfully trippy new commercials for FXX's eternal 'Simpsons' coverage, and tell us what you want to see it all add up to in the comments!
