For those of us who have been emotionally torn apart by The Walking Dead adventure series from Telltale Games, Season 2 can't come soon enough. But at least we can wait patiently, knowing that a few of our favorite characters from the first season will be returning. For those of you who haven't finished out the first season, there may be SPOILERS AHEAD!

According to JoyStiq, Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors confirmed the return of Clementine, main character Lee Everett's young ward, at a San Diego Comic-Con panel. When we last left Clem at the end of the first game's final episode, she was on her own in a field and walking towards some figures in the distance, making for a great cliffhanger.

The question is whether or not we'll see Clementine as the main character in Season 2 or if we'll take up the role as another mentor for the young survivor. The first season focused on Lee doing all he could to train Clementine on how to get by and stay alive in a zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic world.

In other character news, Connors said that the fate of Kenny, one of the survivors in the group, "will be explored." It's a smart idea to keep your game saves safe, as your choices from the game, as well as the 400 Days downloadable content episode, will carry over in the sequel.

Let us know what you think about the returning characters and what you're looking forward to seeing in Season 2 of The Walking Dead adventure game.
