Tom Cruise — Celebrities Who Turned 50 in 2012

Tom Cruise -- the same guy who's starring in 'Jack Reacher' as a rebel badass, 'Oblivion' as a Wall-E-type badass, and the farther-down-the-line 'All You Need Is Kill' as a badass who can't die -- turned 50 on July 3, 2012. Clearly he has no plans to slow down!

Funny enough, he's the same age Wilford Brimley was when he starred in 1985's sci-fier 'Cocoon.' From there, Brimley went on to star in 'End of the Line' with Kevin Bacon, 'Our House,' 'The Firm' and countless others, which bodes well for Mr. Cruise here.

Also on the docket for this aging action star is 'Mission: Impossible 5,' on which he's quote "already working." Good news considering that the once thought 'Top Gun 2' is no longer happening.

Let's just hope he doesn't break a hip with all this moving around he has to do.
