In the tradition of ScreenCrush series like You Think You Know MoviesYou Think You Know TV, and Post Credits comes a brand new YouTube series: Top Five! Each week (or so; we’ve got a lot of other stuff going on), ScreenCrush editor and critic Matt Singer will count down a particular topic from the world of movies (and probably write these introductory posts in the third person).

Our third episode is inspired by the new Hitman: Agent 47, which softly, gently, delicately reboots the Hitman property with new star, Rupert Friend. In honor of everyone’s favorite emotionless assassin in a black suit and red tie, Matt’s counting down the best franchise reboots in history. Though some reboots are the sad act of a desperate man (or Spider-Man), some franchise mulligans have produced some really fantastic movies; this video collects them all on in one place, with Charlton Heston impressions.

Top Five is a new ScreenCrush original series that ranks all kinds of cool stuff from the world of movies. This is our third episode, but we’re just getting started! Check out our past episodes below, and enjoy some of the best installments of our sister series, You Think You Know Movies. Plus, we want your feedback, so be sure to let us know what Top Fives you want to see in future episodes!
