It's been some months since longtime 'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones caused controversy throughout the TV world, going public with a religious diatribe against the series that brought him to notoriety, urging viewers not to watch its "filth." Since then, the controversy seems to have died down following a number of public apologies and commentary, but will all go smoothly when Jones returns to the 'Two and a Half Men' set this coming week? And who will Jaime Pressly be playing alongside him? What's CBS saying about an 11th season?

'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones may have seriously rocked the boat with his "Forerunner Chronicles" rants disparaging the long-running CBS series, but there doesn't seem to be any love lost between the actor and the show. Deadline reports that after an already-plotted hiatus, Jones is due back on the 'Two and a Half Men' set next week for his first major storyline since the incident.

Beyond that, CBS remains optimistic about an 11th season, despite no deal in place for series lead Ashton Kutcher. Speaking at the TCA press tour panel, CBS president Nina Tassler spoke optimistically about Jones' return as well, saying:

I think he would like to come back, too. Chuck [Lorre] would like him [back], Warner Bros. would…He made his public apology and we’ve moved on. He’s [back on set] next week.

This is a happy cast, these are happy people. We had a little bit of a glitch, but… what else is new? The kid’s 19 years old. I have a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there’s been plenty of things my kid has come out and said that I wish he hadn’t. But I think the bottom line is cooler heads prevailed.

Joining Jones for the return will be that of veteran TV star Jaime Pressly, playing a "cougar" love interest of the young man's from South Dakota.

What say you? Do you think all's forgiven between Angus T. Jones and 'Two and a Half Men?' Does the series have enough life in it to make an 11th season? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
