Ubisoft's doing fine with franchises like Assassin's Creed and the highly-anticipated Watch Dogs, but what's the deal with upcoming Prince of Persia, Far Cry and Beyond Good & Evil?

An article on Eurogamer explores the possibilities of new games being released from some of Ubisoft's classic franchises. When asked about Far Cry 4 at E3 2013, Ubisoft Europe's Alain Corre said, "We haven't announced anything yet. We're thinking of the future of this brand. We don't know yet when it will emerge. Again, it's cooking. Something is cooking!"

He had a similar reply when asked about the possibility of a Prince of Persia game being developed anytime soon. "All our franchises are always in gestation. We are iterating. We are thinking about what can be done. But we can't bring all the games and all the franchises every year. We have a lot on the show floor this year already."

Beyond & Evil 2's absence at E3 2013 also raised some questions, since Ubisoft posted an image from the game to its Facebook, prior to its press conference.

Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot said that the image was "just a past of our promotion in the run-up to E3, homaging some of the character from our past."

So far, it's looking like Far Cry 4 will be the next game in the lineup. What do you think? Which game would you rather see first come from Ubisoft? Let us know in the comments.
