With the success of the last three 'Fast and Furious' films, Vin Diesel went from nearly being a has-been to an A-lister who got to resurrect his dead franchise 'Riddick.' Want more proof he's back on top? He's meeting with Marvel about an upcoming project.

Diesel, who keeps active on Facebook, posted a photo of himself and left this note:

P.s. Marvel has requested a meeting... no idea what for... haha, you probably know better than me...

With the casting of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' still in progress, our thoughts first go there. Some have speculated that Diesel would play (or voice) Thanos, though it's also possible that he could play a guardian as the roles of Groot and Rocket Raccoon have yet to be cast. Diesel has experience doing voice-over work -- one of his best roles to date was as the titular character in 1999's 'The Iron Giant' -- and with both 'Guardians' and 'Fast and Furious 7' going into production shortly, his involvement with 'Guardians' would have to be limited.

There's also the possibility he's being considered for Edgar Wright's 'Ant-Man' or one of those still-untitled upcoming Marvel movies that have recently been announced. Then there's also the rumor from last year that Diesel might play the character The Vision, and would then show up in 'The Avengers 2.' Basically, there's a lot of options.
