You may have heard of a little television program AMC has been enthusiastic of promoting, titled Preacher. We’ve even talked about it once or twice, spoken to slightly-recognizable cast and creators. AMC would like you to watch this television program, and have now provided a commercial-free streaming link with which to do so. Please, watch Preacher.

Having re-run the pilot for Memorial Day weekend (alongside Chris Hardwick’s Talking Preacher), with a second episode cued up for this coming Sunday, AMC at last released a no-holds-barred online version of the full pilot, Tom Cruise explosion and all. You’d still need to log in for the Seth Rogen-Evan Goldberg commentary version, but hey, free TV!

For those unfamiliar with the 1990s comic series from Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, AMC’s official description of Preacher reads:

“Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

In the meantime, check out our interviews with showrunner Sam Catlin, Dominic Cooper and Ruth Negga, and stay tuned for the latest.
