Westworld bosses wouldn’t give up the ghost of exactly when Season 2 will shoot, but judging by the cast additions of late, we can’t be far off. After all, these violent delights will have doubly-violent ends, now that Season 1 star Louis Herthum is officially among the regular cast.

Deadline confirms that – like Talulah Riley before himLouis Herthum has been made a Westworld series regular before Season 2 begins production. The former True Blood star appeared in six episodes as Peter Abernathy, “father” to Dolores, though his memorable breakdown delivered one of the first indications of Arnold’s endgame for the robotic Hosts. The model was later seen as part of Charlotte’s plan to smuggle data out of the park.

Elsewhere of Westworld Season 2, producers have kept the lion’s share of details under wraps, though the 2018 return is expected to answer practical questions about the park, potentially even a date for the show’s setting. Ed Harris will be back to play Season 2 on extreme mode (no guarantee for William or some of our missing players), and we’ll also get answers on the mysterious “SW” park.

In the meantime, stay tuned for further details on Westworld Season 2, arriving in 2018.
