Today is good again — a new Wonder Woman TV spot just dropped! The new spot focuses on Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor’s partnership, and also gives us a neat little explanation of how Wonder Woman got her civilian identity, Diana Prince.

The spot features mostly footage we’ve seen before, with some new shots here and there of Wonder Woman kicking butt and some awesome slow-motion horses on a beach, and is a lot snappier than previous trailers have been. The action in this is quick, the dialogue is quicker, and underneath it all is the beginnings of that fabulous theme she got in Batman v. Superman.

In the comics, Wonder Woman bought her public identity from an army nurse, but in the movie it looks like they’re sidestepping that plot detail in favor of a quicker introduction. When she’s asked what her name is, Diana responds, naturally, with her full title, “Diana, Princess of Them—” but is cut off by Trevor, who shortens that to a less suspicious sounding “Diana Prince.”

Here’s the official synopsis:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, and Danny Huston, hits theaters June 2.
