Xbox One’s Release Window Has Been Set

The Xbox One reveal has shown some pretty cool stuff, but one question remains: when will this thing be released?

Well, no concrete release date has been set, but a soft release window of "later this year" has been revealed.

Even though we don't know exactly when it will be released, we do know that it will be a simultaneous, worldwide debut.

Guess we'll all be able to show off our sweet new gaming moves with friends from around the world at the same time later this year, probably around Q4, to coincide with the holiday season.

Microsoft promised more info would be coming during its E3 presentation, and we're hoping that means price point in addition to a more narrow release timeframe. Sony too has yet to reveal pricing or an concrete release date, so it will be interesting to see which console maker budges first, and sets the price bar for next-gen console gaming.
