The 'You're Next' trailer is great; let's just say that upfront. We loved the film at SXSW and now the trailer is here so the rest of the world can see what we're raving about. It teases you enough without giving away so much of what makes the movie fun. The trailer features the great use of a song against some of the scary stuff going down, which might leave you wondering...what is that 'You're Next' trailer song? We're here to help you out.

The song in the 'You're Next' trailer is "Perfect Day" by Lou Reed from 1972 and was actually the B-side to his classic song "Walk On the Wild Side." The song can be heard briefly in 'Trainspotting' and makes a return to movies in the new 'You're Next' trailer.

What's most interesting is that while you're now wondering about the 'You're Next' trailer song, when you see 'You're Next' in theaters, you'll hear a completely different song used. That is The Dwight Twilley Band's "Looking For the Magic" (which you can listen to here) and is the subject of many callbacks in the movie (and will also get stuck in your head for days after you see the movie).

But that's for this August when 'You're Next' hits theaters. For now, you can watch the 'You're Next' trailer again here and take a listen to the trailer song "Perfect Day" below.
