’24: Live Another Day’ Adds ‘Dexter’ Alum Yvonne Strahovski, 2-Hour Premiere Set for May
Most of the casting announcements for FOX's upcoming '24' revival, 'Live Another Day,' have either belonged to returning stars or relative unknowns, but the latest news emerging from FOX's TCA press tour is anything but small. Not only will 'Chuck' and 'Dexter' alum Yvonne Strahovski team up with Jack Bauer, but FOX has officially handed down the premiere date for Jack's two-hour return!
According to the network, Kiefer Sutherland's counter-terrorism agent will return to FOX airwaves on Monday, May 5, with a two-hour premiere welcoming Jack Bauer back to the world of TV. Meanwhile, the mostly Europe-set adventure will see Strahovski joining in the role of Kate Morgan, a “brilliant but impulsive CIA field operative in London.”
’24: Live Another’ day has been confirmed to take place over 12 episodes, jumping between hours in a story that sees Jack Bauer returning alongside his partner Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), William Devane and Audrey Raines (Kim Raver), with Judy Davis as a terrorist's widow and Michael Wincott as an infamous hacker. ‘Live Another Day’ will also have its A-game behind-the-scenes talent with the returning ’24′ team of writer/producers Howard Gordon (‘Homeland‘), Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland.
FOX may yet have more announcements for '24: Live Another Day' in the hours to come, so stay tuned and tell us in the comments what you're most excited to see from Jack Bauer's May 5 return!
