It has been a VERY busy day for all of the major networks, with Upfront events taking place next week.  We've already seen both NBC and The CW go through the 'Ringer,' literally and figuratively, and now ABC has unveiled its own massive list of pickups, renewals and cancellations.  And what's good news for Connie Britton and 'Private Practice,' spells doom further down 'The River.

Among ABC's existing renewals of 'Castle,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Once Upon a Time,' 'Happy Endings,' 'The Middle,' 'Modern Family' and 'Suburgatory,' Deadline reports that added to the list for next season are full-season pickups of 'Private Practice,' 'Scandal,' 'Body of Proof,' and racy freshman fave 'Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23.'  The only of ABC's shows still yet to be renewed or axed is the Tim Allen-fronted 'Last Man Standing.'

In addition to the enthusiastic list of renewals, ABC has added a whopping nine new series to the roster, including Connie Britton and Hayden Panetierre's country singer drama 'Nashville,' and the earlier reported nuclear submarine drama 'Last Resort.'  Below is the full list of pickups, and a description of each:

'The Neighbors' - A family moves to an upscale New Jersey suburb to discover that their neighbors are actually aliens!

'Family Tools' (formerly titled 'Red Van Man') A single-camera sitcom following Kyle Bornheimer as blue collar man who pauses his life to take over the family handyman business from his dad (J.K. Simmons).

'Nashville' - Connie Britton stars as a Tennessee country star at her peak as a younger star (Hayden Panettiere) comes to prominence.

'Red Widow' (formerly titled 'Penoza') - The widow of an assasinated criminal is forced to take on her husband's role in a crime syndicate to protect her family.

'Zero Hour' - Anthony Edwards stars as a magazine editor whose wife is kidnapped, thereby involving him in one of the most compelling conspiracies in human history.

'How to Live With Your Parents' - 'Scrubs' vet Sarah Chalke stars as Polly, a recently divorced single mom who moves back in with her eccentric parents, Elaine (Elizabeth Perkins) and cancer survivor Max (Brad Garrett), a couple full of life who knows no boundaries.

'666 Park Avenue' - Dave Annable and Rachael Taylor star as a couple who agree to manage an historic, supernaturally-haunted New York City apartment complex owned by another couple ('LOST's Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams).

'Last Resort' - Starring Andre Braugher, Autumn Reeser, Scott Speedman, Dichen Lachman and Bruce Davison, the crew of a US nuclear sub become fugitives after disobeying an order to launch their warheads.

'Malibu Country' - Country star Reba McEntire stars as a recent divorcée who moves her kids and mother from Nashville to Malibu, where she tries to reignite her singing career while keeping herself and her family kids from being corrupted by their materialistic new environs.

Heavy, right?  We'll have a list of ABC's cancellations for you soon, but what make you of their new lineup?  Which of the new shows seems the most interesting, and which returning are you happiest to have back?  Give us your ABC lineup in the comments!
