The week of Alice Through the Looking Glass promo isn’t over yet.

After that ridiculously teasey teaser and the first trailer for Disney‘s sequel to Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland, we now have a slew of character posters. And in case you had any doubt these would be visually explosive, fear not; each actor brings a huge amount of Muchness in their fantastical posters. (Full disclosure: I really have no idea what Muchness even means, but just by looking at these photos you can tell everyone’s emanating a lot of it.)

There’s Helena Bonham Carter serving a four-course meal of it – look at that drastic backbend and taught frown. There’s Johnny Depp’s two-in-one eyebrow hair combo of Mad Hatter absurdity. There's Mia Wasikowska  as the curiouser and curiouser Alice. Anne Hathaway returns channeling pseudo-icy seduction as the White Queen, and the addition of Sacha Baron Cohen‘s weirdo bad guy Time. Lastly, of course, there’s. For a minute you might think this is a Harry Potter crossover with that Golden Snitch-looking thing each of them are holding. But don’t worry, this is a magical world all its own and that little ball of light is a Chronosphere, or “a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock which powers all time.”

The sequel, directed by James Bobin, follows Alice as she travels back down to Underland to rescue the Mad Hatter who is (apparently) loosing his Muchness. Through the Looking Glass also features the return of Alan Rickman as the voice of caterpillar Absolem, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, Michael Sheen’s White Rabbit and Timothy Spall as Baynard the Bloodhound, as well as newcomer Rhys Ifans. Alice Through the Looking Glass opens May 27, 2016.
