New ‘American Gods’ NSFW Clip Introduces Orlando Jones’ Mr. Nancy

Far and away, the best puzzle pieces from Starz’s American Gods are the ones that don’t yet fit, as Bryan Fuller introduces us to Neil Gaiman’s roster of Gods in their original arrivals to America. You can even get a first look at one of the season’s most fiery performances, as Orlando Jones makes his Mr. Nancy debut in a new clip.

Following this past Sunday’s American Gods premiere, Starz released a new clip from this coming weekend’s second outing, “The Secret of Spoons.” In it, we get our second look at the shorts featuring Gods coming to America, as “Mr. Nancy” (Orlando Jones) appears on a slave ship to give its occupants an ominous (and NSFW) portent of their future in the country.

We won’t get to see Mr. Nancy as a regular part of the action just yet, so here’s a full synopsis for “The Secret of Spoons” in the meantime:

Mr. Wednesday beings recruitment for the coming battle; Shadow Moon travels to Chicago with Mr. Wednesday and agrees to a high-stakes game of checkers with the old Slavic deity Czernobog.
