‘Anchorman 2′: More Big Time Cameos Revealed

Obviously, 'Anchorman 2' has already assembled an impressive cast. Aside from Will Ferrell and his crew from the first film, the sequel has nabbed folks like Harrison Ford, Nicole Kidman, Greg Kinnear and Kristen Wiig. (Oh, and an overmatched shark.) And they're not done yet - find out who else is rumored to appear in 'Anchorman 2' after the break!

According to Access Atlanta, a site obviously devoted to the Georgia capitol where 'Anchorman 2' is currently filming, two of comedy's most beloved ladies will appear alongside Ron Burgundy: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The nature of their cameos is unclear, but their appearance in the film isn't completely surprising. Not only were Ferrell, Fey and Poehler all 'SNL' castmembers (when director Adam McKay was the 'SNL' head writer), but Fey came this close to being cast as Veronica Corningstone instead of Christina Applegate. Additionally, Amy Poehler shot scenes for the first 'Anchorman', but they were snipped from the final cut, so she's owed another chance.

But that's not all, San Diegans: The site reports that Sacha Baron Cohen (Ferrell's co-star in 'Talladega Nights') will appear in 'Anchorman 2' as a rival television anchor, while Will Smith is slated to show up in an undefined role. (It's actually exciting to picture Smith going back to broad comedy, especially in a project like this.) That's some line-up!
