‘Beautiful Creatures’ TV Spot: These Witches Have Dark Sides

Now that 'Twilight' is all wrapped up, a slew of new franchises are hoping to pick up where it left off in the hearts of millions. The first contender in 2013 is 'Beautiful Creatures', Richard LaGravenese's adaptation of the popular Young Adult novel of the same name. An extended TV spot for the February release has come online, and you can embrace it after the break.

'Beautiful Creatures' tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

Spoiler alert: she's a witch and she very well could bring about the end of humanity! We've already received multiple looks at this new flick and Lena's devastating power, but this new extended TV spot features snapshots of this young Caster (fancy word for witch) looking pretty... pretty evil. We can only hope the movie doesn't end on a dark note.

The impressive cast also includes Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Thomas Mann and Emmy Rossum. It opens, quite fittingly, on February 14th. Gentlemen, you know where you'll be spending Valentine's Day.
