2013 was a thrilling year for cinema, from witnessing a newly minted Superman breaking in his wings to getting delightfully conned by a man with a combover to reaching new depths of outer space. But which actress gave the best performance of the year?

For the 2nd Annual ScreenCrush Fan Choice Awards, your trusty editors combed through the year’s standout films, TV series and performances, and offered up the very best for your consideration. Now, it’s time for you, the readers, to have a say and vote for the champs.

In terms of the actresses who lit up the silver screen, Jennifer Lawrence was on fire reprising Katniss Everdeen for the 'Hunger Games' sequel, 'Catching Fire,' while some critics hailed Sandra Bullock's turn in Alfonso Cuaron's 'Gravity' and Cate Blachett's role in Woody Allen's 'Blue Jasmine' as career-high performances. Elsewhere, Amy Adams had another stellar year with her leading role in David O. Russell's 'American Hustle,' Scarlett Johansson proved her voiceover skills as Joaquin Phoenix's A.I. girlfriend in 'Her,' and up-in-coming Brie Larson had a breakthrough performance in the indie film 'Short Term 12.'
