Last year, director Zack Snyder blew audiences away with his newly rebooted Superman film, 'Man of Steel,' and although it received mixed reviews among critics, movie fans voted it the Best Movie of 2013 in ScreenCrush's 2nd Annual Fan Choice Awards.

In addition, the film also received the award for Best Movie Trailer, though, in a strange turn of events, not for Best Superhero Movie. That recognition went to 'Kick-Ass 2,' which apparently fans liked more ... ?

The nominees for the 2nd Annual Fan Choice Awards were curated by ScreenCrush's trusty editors, and the winners were chosen in a lengthy voting period that began on January 6 and finished February 11. Fans were allowed to vote up to once per hour per category.

Henry Cavill starred in 'Man of Steel' as Supes himself with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Pa and Ma Kent, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White. It sits as the fifth highest-grossing film in the 2013 domestic box office ($291MM). The untitled 'Batman vs. Superman' follow-up, out on May 6, 2016, will return Cavill, Adams, Fishburne and Lane to the screen, along with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman.
