When you break it down, all male leads in any CW show match the following criteria -- tall(-ish), chiseled, 0% body hair and a signature smirk. Prime examples are Jared Padalecki in 'Supernatural,' Stephen Amell in 'Arrow,' Jay Bunyan in 'Beauty and the Beast,' and (oh look!) Chase Crawford in 'Gossip Girl' and Ian Somerhalder in 'The Vampire Diaries.' One exception to the rule is Thomas Dekker from 'The Secret Circle,' but that got canceled after one season!
