Cosplay of the Day: Jet Black and Ice Cool

Fans of anime might recall 'Cowboy Bebop' from Adult Swim's late-night lineup, especially because it was the first anime series they ever aired. If so, then they'd probably also remember its cast of cooler-than-cool characters. Today we've got Spike Spiegel's right-hand man, Jet Black, who happens to be missing an arm. But, hey, at least he's got a rockin' cybernetic arm.

This swanky outfit was worn by Jet during the "Honky Tonk Women" episode in which he and Spike check out a casino to make some quick cash. Though Jet is usually tough and gruff-looking, he actually looks sort of debonair, especially when sporting that scarf.

It is only appropriate that the cosplayer's name is Jet_Texas, given his uncanny resemblance to Jet. According to his Cosplay.com profile, the outfit was relatively simple to assemble. The only real problem he had was getting wrap-around sunglasses and pairing them with actual prescription glasses so that he could see more than 15 feet in front of him.
