Doctor Who has historically done well with its event screenings, and it’s only fair one of the franchise’s biggest “lost” episodes gets equal opportunity. Fifty years from its premiere, Doctor Who: The Power of the Daleks will get a theatrical release, featuring bonus interviews with the original cast.

Having previously been lost to poor storage, 1966 outing “The Power Of The Daleks” was reconstructed as a six-part animated production with original audio recordings, surviving photographs and film clips. Ahead of the November 19 debut, Fathom Events will be holding an early premiere screening on Monday, November 14, at 7:00 P.M., including “exclusive bonus content” and interviews with members of the original cast.

Tickets for Doctor Who: The Power of the Daleks in theaters can be purchased starting October 14 at 10:00 A.M. ET by visiting Fathom Events, or participating theater box offices. So reads the synopsis for the revival, which also features the first regeneration:

The six-part adventure features the regeneration, or as it was then called ‘renewal’, of first Doctor, William Hartnell into second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, as the Time Lord and his companions Polly (Anneke Wills) and Ben (Michael Craze) do battle with the Daleks on the planet Vulcan.

The series is produced and directed by Charles Norton, with character designs from comic book artists Martin Geraghty and Adrian Salmon. Check out the teaser above, and take a trip through Doctor Who history!
