Is it us or does Ed Helms almost seem like he doesn't want to return to 'The Office'? The actor is trying to cram two films into his schedule before the show's ninth season begins.

According to Deadline, Helms is shooting a movie next month called 'They Came Together,' in which he stars opposite Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler as an accountant named Eggbert. The "twisted take on the romantic comedy" is being directed by David Wain ('Role Models').

At the same time, Helms is also set to make a cameo in a film called 'We're the Millers,' in which he plays a shifty character named Brad who is the boss of Jason Sudekis. Jennifer Aniston also appears in the film, which is currently in pre-production.

Helms needs to get both jobs finished before the ninth season of 'The Office' starts up production on July 30th. And he's only on that initially for five weeks until 'The Hangover Part 3' begins filming on September 16th, so look for his 'Office' character of Andy to be on vacation for a while.

Is Helms taking on too much? Or would you do the same if you knew you had to eventually get back to work on the umpteenth season of a once-brilliant series that jumped the shark at least two seasons ago?
