One of the most intriguing films of the upcoming fall movie season is Ridley Scott's 'Exodus: Gods and Kings,' a massive epic that tells the Biblical story of Moses and his brother Ramses, played by Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton, respectively. While it's already drawn some controversy for its mostly white cast, we can't help but be curious about a new Ridley Scott film, particularly a sprawling action drama set in Biblical times. Curious indeed. And thanks to this new featurette, we can go behind the scenes of 'Exodus' to see Scott putting it all together.

20th Century Fox released this behind the scenes featurette in which Scott discusses what drew him to the Biblical tale -- unfortunately, it's a short featurette, so it's mostly Scott talking about the complexity of Moses, his massive story, and the relationship with his brother Ramses, which later gave way to war ... you know, typical bro stuff.

The film tells the story of Moses, the Egyptian leader who defied his brother, the Pharaoh Ramses, freeing 600,000 slaves and leading them on a harrowing journey through Egypt. Bale and Edgerton are joined in the cast by Aaron Paul, John Turturro, Sigourney Weaver, and Ben Kingsley. 'Exodus: Gods and Kings' hits theaters on December 12.
