You know one of the benefits of Upfront week, that doesn't always get as much attention?  In addition to all the new schedules and series announced (TNT dropped their biggest announcements this morning), existing shows arrive with descriptions of the first episode runs, ripe with juicy details for advertisers to pore over.  So what's on tap for the first half of 'Falling Skies' season 2?

Plenty of questions over 'Falling Skies' season 2 remain to be answered when the series premieres on Sunday, June 17 on TNT, such as what happened during Tom Mason (Noah Wyle)'s three-month stay on an alien ship after the events of season 1 finale "Eight Minutes."  Where did he go?  What did they do?  Did they have cable?

Not to mention, what's happened to the other members of the 2nd Massachusetts in the time since he's been gone?  Check out a few juicy spoilers about the first five episodes of 'Falling Skies' Season 2:

For those unfamiliar with the series, ‘Falling Skies’ follows former history professor Tom Mason as one of the leaders of a human resistance force desperately struggling to fight back and survive in the aftermath of an alien invasion that killed off 90% of the planet’s population.  In addition to protecting his children, one of whom spent time under the aliens’ thrall, Tom maintains a close relationship with the resistance’s doctor Anne Glass (Moon Bloodgood), as well as charismatic rogue John Pope (Colin Cunningham) and military leader Captain Daniel Weaver (Will Patton).
