While we're in the midst of the weekend of testosterone, better known as the opening weekend for 'The Expendables 2,' there's a couple of people working around in Tinseltown trying to create their own version of the summer tent pole. But this time they want it to be all girls. Damn right.

Adi Shankar teamed up with Private Defense Contractors to pitch up enough money to make an all-female version of 'The Expendables,' reports Variety. What exactly does that entail? Well for one that means the men won't be the only ones geeking out over an action film in a couple of years time, which makes us gals happy. Then again, who would they cast to be part of the picture?

Since 'The Expendables' is a mixture of action stars from yesteryear and today, the same should be happening for the female equivalent. We wouldn't mind seeing the likes of Sigourney Weaver teaming up with a young and energetic Gina Carano, gunning down a countless number of bad guys. Then there's the remainder of the plucky group of badass women that work alongside them. If we had it our way, we'd throw in there Michelle Rodriguez, Summer Glau, Lena Headey, Zoe Saldana, Eliza Dushku, Noomi Rapace and maybe the Bruce Willis-type character would be played by Charlize Theron. And let us not forget the villain who we would like to be played by Carrie Anne Moss. It is fun to dream.
