It's getting to be about that time of year when we learn the fates of our favorite shows, and FOX has already seen fit to grace 'Glee, ' 'New Girl,' and 'Raising Hope' with early renewals, though none were entirely unexpected.  With 'Fringe' one of the bigger question marks, when can we expect a decision?

Why not ask 'Fringe' executive producer J.H. Wyman?  According to his Twitter account, a renewal decision for a fifth season of 'Fringe' is to be expected at some point this week, particularly with FOX making decisions in anticipation of its upcoming Upfront presentation.  It remains to be seen if a deal can be struck with 'Fringe's rather expensive Warner Bros. licensing fees, though it's possible that a truncated season could bridge the gulf between the two parties financially.

But that's not all, Wyman is usually good to answer questions from fans regarding 'Fringe,' and as such addressed the possibility that the series could move forward as a movie, if the renewal doesn't work out:

Well, at least that's conclusive!  So what do you think, is 'Fringe' likely to earn a season 5 renewal, or will it join the long list of FOX shows banished to Friday nights to run out their course?  Take a look at everything you'll be missing below, and give us your take in the comments!
