'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' should be on DVD by now but after the film was delayed at the last-minute from its June, 2012 release date, we're only now gearing up to see the 'G.I. Joe' sequel in theaters. 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' finally hits theaters this March and to get you excited, this Friday you can see 4 minutes of 3D footage in theaters with 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.' Not all that excited about paying to see 'Hansel and Gretel?' That's OK, you can preview the new footage right now.

One of the centerpieces of 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' seems to be the "ninjas on the mountain" scene that we've seen in all the trailers so far. It's a visually impressive action sequence and it once again gets prominent placement in this new footage. But just as cool, we get Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson loading up a tank, kicking ass and taking names.

We know that the 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' buzz took a major hit when the film was delayed over nine months presumably to be converted into 3D (while the reality was that low test scores resulted in new reshoots). But we were always a little excited about 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' buzz be damned. We're hopeful that whatever was reshot or re-edited or re-whatevered, it made for a better movie, because there's something awesome about seeing Bruce Willis, The Rock and ninjas kick ass all in the same movie.

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' hits theaters on March 29. Watch the new footage below and in theaters this weekend.
