‘Glee’ Season 4: Meet Sarah Jessica Parker’s Character
With 'Glee' season 4 fast picking up its pace for a September 13 debut, most of the new footage and promotional images we've seen came from Kate Hudson's sexy NYADA dance instructor Cassandra July, but what of Sarah Jessica Parker? To date only precious few details have been released about the former 'Sex and the City' star's turn with the singing graduates, so what role will she take in the coming season? And how would you like a first look?
Thanks to Ryan Murphy, we've once again gotten a first look at 'Glee' season 4 that FOX itself has yet to deliver. Yesterday Murphy tweeted out the first photo of 'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker in her new role as Isabelle, Kurt's new boss at Vogue.com. Having been denied admission to NYADA, it's established that Kurt will follow Rachel to New York regardless, taking an internship with the prestigious magazine's website.
Though not an official production photo, the first shot features Chris Colfer and Parker together in black and white, accompanied by the descriptive tag, "First scene! Kurt and Isabelle." It remains unknown if Parker will have any kind of singing role on the series.
In addition to Parker and Kate Hudson, new cast-mates include‘Homeland‘ star Melissa Benoist and Becca Tobin, along with Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist, though Geyer’s role will take place in New York as a NYADA freshman with eyes for Rachel Berry. Artist on the other hand will join the new girls in Ohio as Jake, younger half-brother to Noah “Puck” Puckerman. Apart from the newbies, the only concrete casting of late is the upgrade of recurring star Chord Overstreet to series regular.
