The doctor is in! On the very day that 'Childrens Hospital' opened its doors for a third season, funnyman Rob Corddry picked up yet another gig working for ABC on the third season of critical darling 'Happy Endings.' But don't expect any clown makeup this time around, as the the comedian will be taking things a bit more seriously. Who will Corddry play, and what does his new role have him seeing in Eliza Coupe's Jane?

According to TVLine, 'Happy Endings' season 3 just got a little happier by including the 'Childrens Hospital' clown doc and 'Hot Tub Time Machine' star for a multi-episode arc. Corddry will play the role of the "Car Czar," the legendary owner of a car dealership who helps Penny (Casey Wilson) buy a new ride with Jane's assistance.

Impressed by the dour woman's intimate knowledge of cars during the buy, the "Car Czar" brings Jane on as a salesperson. Good thing too, considering Jane's husband Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) just found himself out of a job during the 'Happy Endings' season 2 finale. 'Happy Endings' executive producer Jonathan Groff had previously said the Television Critics Association press tour that season 3 would feature "a bit more of Jane at work."

The third season of 'Happy Endings' will bow on Tuesday, October 23, while Corddry will appear in at least two episodes. As an added bit of trivia, Jane Coupe first gained notoriety playing Dr. Denise Martin in the eighth season of 'Scrubs,' which filmed in the very hospital where 'Childrens Hospital' now takes place!
