Stop everything. We have a major announcement, and it is the best news you'll read all day: Harrison Ford has joined the cast of 'Anchorman 2.' Way to stay classy, San Diego.

THR reports that Harrison Ford has joined the cast of 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues.' The legendary actor will play a legendary newscaster in the upcoming sequel, which will see the gang move from San Diego to New York in the 70s. Ford previously played an anchorman in 'Morning Glory' alongside Rachel McAdams and Diane Keaton.

The actor joins newcomers Kristen Wiig, John C. Reilly, James Marsden, Meagan Good, and Dylan Baker, as well as returning cast members Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, and Christina Applegate. Just when we thought this cast couldn't get any more amazing, they go and add the man who played Han Solo and Indiana Jones. This is already shaping up to be the best movie of 2013.

Plot details are scarce, but aside from the New York setting, we do know that Wiig will play Carell's love interest, so that's kind of a big deal.

'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' begins shooting next month in Atlanta for a December 20 release, making this the greatest Christmas present ever.
