Yesterday we heard the unbelievable news that FOX had entered talks with former '24' star Kiefer Sutherland to revive the property as a limited series, following the cancellation of Sutherland's two-season thriller 'Touch.' The news had initially been deemed too unexpected to be certain, but now it seems former '24' executive producer David Fury has confirmed the news. Find out the latest details on the '24' reboot inside!

Just two days ago, the prospect of the long-awaited '24' revival remained as out of the question as its feature-length adaptation, though no one seems to be laughing now. Following Deadline's revelation yesterday, former '24' executive produce David Fury confirmed over Twitter that he would return for the effort, pulling double-duty with FX's upcoming series 'Tyrant.'

Moreover, Fury apparently confirmed that the '24' revival would likely take place over 12 episodes, while we suspect FOX would leave the door open for additional limited season installments, in the vein of its latest success 'The Following.' Sutherland has yet to officially sign, but Fury's involvement, along with former showrunner and current 'Homeland' head Howard Gordon likely bodes well for the series' return.

What say you? Do you think FOX will really get '24's Jack Bauer back on television? What on-screen and behind-the-scenes talent would you like to see join the revival?
