‘Late Night’ Takes on ‘The Blacklist’ In a Very, Very Weird Way

Back in November, Late Night with Seth Meyers took on Aaron Sorkin with their own spectacular send up of the television visionary and his special brand of entertainment. Last night, they took that concept and went straight to the heart of The Blacklist. Sort of.

The conceit is simple and totally weird: Late Night writer Conner O'Malley (remember the Christmas tree guy?) likes The Blacklist but thinks that it could be improved upon in a number of ways. Like if it starred him. And host Seth Meyers. And dinosaurs? And was just deeply, deeply strange. There’s really no other way to prepare you for what you’re about to see, but we will add that you don’t need to be a fan of The Blacklist to get it. In fact, it might be better if you’re not.
