There are some that say ‘Hunger Games’ star Liam Hemsworth is the lesser Hemsworth brother after Chris, who is Thor and The Huntsman and Blackhat. To which I say that’s ridiculous; Luke is obviously the lesser Hemsworth brother. Just kidding Luke, please don’t hurt me. Any Hemsworth is still far better than a Singer. Trust me on this.

The Hemsworth sibling power rankings may need to be shuffled in the near future, though, if the new report from TheWrap is correct. According to their sources, Liam Hemsworth “has the offer” to star in ‘ID Forever,’ the long-awaited sequel to Roland Emmerich’s 1996 blockbuster about invading aliens. ‘ID4 2’ got a green light back in November, even though Will Smith finally decided he would not reprise his role as hotshot pilot Steve Hiller.

His former co-stars Bill Pullman (President Thomas J. Whitmore) and Jeff Goldblum (King Computer Dork David Levinson) will be back however, along with Emmerich, who returning to the director’s chair. ‘ID Forever’ is currently scheduled for a June 24, 2016 release, just in time for that all-important holiday. That’s right, Canada Day.
