It's 'Snow White and the Hunstman' vs. 'Mirror, Mirror' all over again, except this time the competition is centered around that narcoleptic princess with an affinity for pricking herself with spinning wheel needles.

While Disney is in the process of filming their version of the 'Sleeping Beauty' story with Angelina Jolie as the evil queen in 'Maleficent,' Neal Moritz, the producer behind '21 Jump Street,' is developing his own modern retelling of the classic fairy tale.

His hope is to turn the "slumbering sweetie" into a "pesky stalker," reports The Hollywood Reporter. In this version, the prince is more of an accidental hero who awakens Sleeping Beauty, who then turns into a version of that "Overly Attached Girlfriend Meme."

Though a deal has been struck with Sony, the film is not yet in production and is said to be developing internally with Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller writing the script. Also on the production team besides Moritz is Corey May and Dooma Wenschuh, while Amanda Lewis is directing.

So, what do you think? Are you up for another Sleeping Beauty retelling? Will both these rival films reach the same fate as 'Snow White' and 'Mirror, Mirror.'
