'The Muppets' was one of the most charming films to come out last year. Lifelong fans (guilty!) of Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang were ecstatic to see their childhood friends once again on the big screen. The Jason Segel starring movie introduced The Muppets to an entirely new generation of kids. It also introduced the world to a brand new Muppet called Walter. And while Walter was one of the main characters in the film, would he be returning for the recently announced sequel?

At the premiere of Nicholas Stoller's new movie 'The Five-Year Engagement,' Stoller, who co-wrote the first film with Segel, was asked by Vulture if Walter would be involved in the sequel now that Segel has decided not to appear in it.

"Walter is coming back. Come on, you saw the first one, right? The arc of the story was, 'Am I a man or a Muppet?' Gary (Jason Segel) chose 'I am a man.' So if you were making something called The Mannets, Gary would be in that. Walter chose to be a Muppet. He realized he's a Muppet. He is not making a cameo. He is heavily involved in the story. It's in the early stages, so everything could change, but right now it's a Kermit-centric story, as a lot of the original movies were."

Great news for those of us who loved the new addition to the Muppet family. Not sure what Stoller is talking about, if you hadn't seen the film? The following video should help get you caught up.

Are you a man or a Muppet?
